Multi-Vendor Marketplace Development

Buyers, sellers and your commission, handled by a platform you own.

  • Niche product marketplaces
  • Service and professional marketplaces
  • B2B trade platforms
  • Startups validating a two-sided model

Overview

A marketplace is really three products in one: a storefront for buyers, a back office for sellers and a control panel for you. We build all three with the plumbing that matters most, from vendor onboarding and split payments to disputes and payouts, for product marketplaces, service marketplaces and niche B2B exchanges.

What we build

Modules we typically include.

  • 01

    Vendor onboarding and storefronts

Registration, KYC and bank details, branded seller pages and product or service listings with approval workflows.

  • 02

    Catalogue and search

Categories, attributes, filters and fast search that still works with tens of thousands of listings.

  • 03

    Cart, checkout and split payments

Multi-vendor carts, taxes and shipping per seller, commission rules and automatic payouts.

  • 04

    Orders, fulfilment and tracking

Seller order management, shipping integrations, status updates and returns handling.

  • 05

    Reviews, ratings and disputes

Verified reviews, seller performance scores and a dispute process with admin mediation.

  • 06

    Admin control panel

Commission settings, promotions, content moderation, reports and the levers to run the business day to day.

Should we build custom or start with a plugin-based marketplace?

If your model is standard, a ready-made platform can validate it cheaply. Build custom when commissions, workflows or trust features are your differentiator, or when per-transaction fees become expensive.

How do split payments work?

Payment providers such as Razorpay Route and Stripe Connect split each order between sellers and the platform and handle payouts, so money never sits in a manual process.

Can it support services as well as products?

Yes. Services add scheduling and provider availability on top of the same vendor, payment and review foundations.
